Jo Porter

A memorial service for Jo Porter, age 81, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at First United Pentecostal Church, in Sulphur Springs, at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2009. There will be no formal visitation.
Jo Porter passed away Friday evening, March 6, 2009, at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. She was born in Anson, on August 13, 1927, the daughter of E. Albert Bell and Ruth (Stites) Bell. She married Franklin M. Porter in San Marcos, on March 11, 1950. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Porter was a homemaker. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Springs.
Survivors include: son, Roy Porter; grandchildren, Paul Porter, Edwin Porter, Deborah Mullens and eight great-grandchildren, all of Washington.
