John Bicknell

Graveside funeral services for John David Bicknell, age 65, of Garland, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Arledge Ridge Cemetery, in Bonham.

Mr. Bicknell passed away early Wednesday morning, March 5, 2008, at his residence. He was born in Paris, Tx, on January 23, 1943, the son of Vernon Ray and Carrie D. Allen Bicknell.

Mr. Bicknell was a retired printer and served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include: his mother, Carrie Ransom, of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, James Bicknell, of Mt. Pleasant, and Thomas C. Ransom, of Dallas; and one sister, Paula Rorie of Sulphur Springs.

He was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Olan Ransom.
