Graveside service for Johnny Ray Couch, age 85, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Restlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Couch passed away at Christus Mother Frances in Tyler, Texas, on Monday, August 17, 2026.
Johnny Couch was born on April 7, 1941, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Aaron and Adean Couch. He married Patsy (Deloach) Couch in San Antonio, Texas, on July 5, 1962. Johnny proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he devoted his life to dairy farming, a vocation he found both meaningful and rewarding. He was a faithful member of the Mars Hill Church of Christ, where his faith and fellowship were an important part of his life. Johnny will be remembered for his service to his country, his dedication to his family and work, and his steadfast faith.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Patsy Couch of Sulphur Springs, Texas; son, Johnny Dewayne Couch and wife Susan; grandchildren, Kara Kay and husband Aaron, Hannah Ruth and husband Colton, Nelson Zane; great-grandchildren, Addi, Asher Webb, Davis, Vivian, Rayelynn Womack; special niece, Jennifer Lucas; special, nephews, Billy Couch, Mark Couch, Sam Redmon; sister Richard Faye Redmon; many niece and nephews; and dear friend, Heather White.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Shaun Lee Couch; brothers, Aaron Lee Couch Jr., Billy Gene Couch Jr.; and brother-in-law, Louis Redom.
