Funeral services for Josh Herring, age 22, of Cumby, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2009, with Rev. John Nesbitt officiating. Interment will follow at Horton Cemetery, with Jonathan Crumpton, Cory Elmore, Jonathan King, Wesley Higginbotham, Jason Tadlock, Anthony Busby and Adam Busby serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Josh Herring passed away Sunday morning, August 9, 2009 in Miller Grove. He was born in Greenville, on May 20, 1987, the son of Stephen Herring and Nona Kay (Busby) Herring. He married Hayley Nichole Bennett in Campbell, on June 26, 2005; she survives. Mr. Herring was an installer for Dish Network.
Other survivors include: two sons, Joshua Ray Herring, Jr. and Haiden Kade Herring, both of Cumby; father, Stephen Herring and wife, Brenda, of Salina, Kansas; mother, Nona Kay Johnson and stepfather, Anthony Herrington, both of Sulphur Springs, four sisters, Heather Herring of Campbell, Cortney Skeen, Angenay Harrington, both of Sulphur Springs, Morgan Herring of Salina, Kansas; three brothers, Matthew Herring of Salina, Kansas, Anthony Harrington, II, and Austin Bryer Carter, both of Sulphur Springs; grandmothers, Martha Busby of Campbell, Sandy Winn of Greenville and Jill H. Cooper of Commerce and grandfather, Charles Herring of Campbell. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Donald Busby and one infant brother.
