Joyce Conley Odom

Funeral service for Joyce Conley Odom, age 89, of Como, Texas, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Como, Texas, with Rev. L.D. Baxley officiating, with Terry Odom, Greg Conley, Mason Moss, Braxstan Cole, Aaron Richardson, and Dalton Morgan serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Mrs. Odom passed away at Avir at Winnsboro Nursing Home on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Joyce Conley Odom was born on January 22, 1937, in Sulphur Bluff, Texas, to the late Paul and Helen (Coursey) Conley. She married the late Donald Odom on June 24, 1955. Joyce was a devoted homemaker and a proud dairy farmer who worked tirelessly alongside her family. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and found great joy in singing gospel music, a gift she shared with others throughout her life. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Patricia Fouse and husband Mackey of Como, Texas, Helen Moss and husband Larry of Como, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frankie Conley, Gary Conley; and sister, Deanna Bowen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helen Conley; husband, Donald Ray Odom; sisters, Sherlyn Conley, Elaine Saffle, and Paula Lee; daughter, Donna Joy; son, Kenneth Ray; and grandson, Nathan Moss.
