Graveside services for Juanita Woosley, age 92, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at City Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.
Juanita Woosley passed away Friday morning, December 3, 2010 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. She was born in Hemphill on June 28, 1918, the daughter of Albert Melton and Jewel (Barfield) Melton. She married Joe Woosley in Texarkana, April, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1983. Mrs. Woosley was a homemaker and a pink lady volunteer for over 20 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: son, Tom Woosley and wife, Barbara, of Yantis; grandchildren, Micah Earle, Erica Burns and Sean Woosley and great-grandchildren, Fiona Earle, Liam Earle and Greta Burns. She was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Melton, Jr.
