Judy Gammill

Funeral Service for Judy Gammill, age 75, of Como, TX will be held at 11:00 A.M. on  Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Judge B.J. Teer officiating.  Interment will follow at Arbala Cemetery with James Wilfred, James Andy Wilfred, Jayden Wallace, Justin Simmons, James Ray Humphries, Brian Gumphert and Tanner Gilbreath serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be held one hour before the service.  Mrs. Gammill passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at her residence in Como, TX.

Judy was born March 8, 1944 in Grand Saline to James and Mamie Kirby.  She married Sandford Gammill on April 27, 1971 in Sulphur Springs.  He preceded her in death in 2015.  She was a retired Administrator Secretary with Sulphur Springs Independent School District and a member of the Colored Blind Ministries Church.

She is survived by her son, James Wilfred; daughter, Shannon Wallace and husband, Joe; grandchildren, Charity Rodriguez, Jayden Wallace, James Andy Wilfred, Lyndie Wallace; great grandchildren, Mattison Cameron, Moises Rodriguez, Braelyn Wilfred.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren, Danny Wayne Tipps, Sabrina Tipps, Derek Wade Tipps; brother, Larry Dean Kirby.
