A graveside service for Kathryn Ridge, age 89, of Edinburg, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Greenview Cemetery, with Brother B. J. Teer officiating. Her great-nephews will serve as pallbearers. There will be no formal visitation.
Kathryn Ridge passed away Tuesday morning, December 7, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on January 18, 1921, the daughter of Tolbert A. Valentine and Lydia L. (Stamps) Valentine. She was a retired information clerk with Greyhound Bus Lines. She was of the Baptist faith.
Her sister-in-law, Mary Valentine of Edinburg survives.
