Kathryn "Kat" Schumacher

Graveside service for Kathryn “Kat” Schumacher of Hickory Creek, Texas, will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Arbala Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 P.M. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, Sulphur Springs, TX. Miss Schumacher passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 and is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Kathryn, "Kat”, was a Rockwall High School Alumni and a true Yellow Jacket. After high school she worked diligently to become a successful HR professional and was sought after by companies across the nation for her unparalleled skills. Her smile and laugh were infectious, bringing joy to everyone she met. Kat's kind, compassionate and giving nature was imbedded in her spirit and touched everyone she knew. The love and dedication Kat gave to her dogs, her fur babies, was immense. She will be missed by her many friends and family.

Kathryn is survived by her mother Rebecca Oliphant, stepfather Ron Oliphant, father David Schumacher, brothers Daniel Schumacher, James Schumacher and Joseph Schumacher, niece Kaylee Schumacher and nephews Nicholas Schumacher, Logan Schumacher and Jackson Schumacher.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that friends and family donate to the association that maintains the cemetery where she will be buried.
