Kathy Hernandez

The funeral service for Kathy Hernandez, age 65, of Dike, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Fernando Augilar officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery with Jose Luis Ramos, Jimmy Granados, Blake Brown, Christian Gonzalez, Landon Morroquin, and Hugo Hernandez serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Kathy Hernandez was born in Mexico on December 21, 1960, to Francisco Hernandez and Blanca Hernandez Castillo. She passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was married to Jose Luis Ramos and built a life centered on love, family, and hard work.

Mrs. Hernandez worked for Cross Timber Ranch in Dike, Texas, for 40 years before becoming a homemaker and dedicating herself to caring for her family.

Kathy had a love for travel and adventure. She especially loved going on Carnival cruises and spending time at the beach whenever she had the chance. Those moments brought her great joy and created many treasured memories with her family and friends.

Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jimmy Granados, Nancy Granados, and Hugo Hernandez, all of Dike, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Petra Rascon of Mexico; her brothers, Carlos Hernandez, Rigo Hernandez, Dago Hernandez, and Hugo Hernandez, all of Mexico; and her cherished grandchildren, Christian Gonzalez and Landon Marroquin.

Kathy's kindness, strength, and devotion to her family will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Though she is gone from our sight, she will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

El servicio funerario para Kathy Hernández, de 65 años, de Dike, Texas, se llevará a cabo a las 10:00 a.m. del martes 14 de julio de 2026 en Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, con Fernando Aguilar oficiando la ceremonia. Al concluir el servicio, se realizará el sepelio en el Cementerio de Sulphur Bluff. Los portadores del féretro serán José Luis Ramos, Jimmy Granados, Blake Brown, Christian González, Landon Marroquín y Hugo Hernández. La visita de condolencias se llevará a cabo una hora antes del servicio.

Kathy Hernández nació en México el 21 de diciembre de 1960, hija de Francisco Hernández y Blanca Hernández Castillo. Falleció en paz el 11 de julio de 2026, rodeada del amor de su familia.

Estuvo casada con José Luis Ramos, con quien construyó una vida basada en el amor, la familia y el trabajo arduo.

La Sra. Hernández trabajó durante 40 años en Cross Timber Ranch, en Dike, Texas, antes de convertirse en ama de casa y dedicar su vida al cuidado de su familia.

Kathy disfrutaba viajar y vivir nuevas aventuras. Le encantaba especialmente hacer cruceros con Carnival y pasar tiempo en la playa siempre que tenía la oportunidad. Esos momentos le brindaban una gran felicidad y le permitieron crear recuerdos inolvidables junto a su familia y amigos.

Kathy será recordada con mucho cariño por sus hijos: Jimmy Granados, Nancy Granados y Hugo Hernández, todos de Dike, Texas. También le sobreviven su hermana, Petra Rascón, de México; sus hermanos, Carlos Hernández, Rigo Hernández, Dago Hernández y Hugo Hernández, todos de México; así como sus queridos nietos, Christian González y Landon Marroquín.

La bondad, fortaleza y dedicación de Kathy hacia su familia permanecerán para siempre en la memoria de todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla y amarla. Aunque ya no esté físicamente entre nosotros, vivirá por siempre en el corazón de quienes la amaron.
