Kathy Williams

Celebration of Life for Kathy Ann Williams, age 71, of Kaufman, Texas, will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Wittle Farm in Cumby, Texas, on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Interment will follow at Shooks Chapel at 1:30 P.M. Mrs. Williams passed away at the Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman, Texas, on Friday, July 10, 2026. 

Kathy Ann Williams was born on February 5, 1955, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to the late James and Estamae (Jones) Williams. Kathy was a retired construction equipment operator who dedicated many years to her profession. She also gave generously of her time as a volunteer with the Red Cross, reflecting her compassionate spirit and commitment to helping others.

Kathy is survived by her children, Rodney Hyatt II and wife Eishie, Tina Hodgdon and husband Chris, Kathy Webber and husband Melvin; grandchildren, Cristina Thompson, Thomas Adkins, Sheldon Earls, Rejinia Kellis, Tristan Hyatt, Randall Butterfield, Justin Butterfield; eighteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and siblings, Jerry Williams and wife Paula, James Williams and Debra, and Sharon Sue.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David Williams, Gary Williams; granddaughter, Jaimie Perkins; and aunt, Shirely Story.
