Kelly Blount

Funeral services for Kelly Kirkpatrick Blount, age 51, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Tracy Coker officiating. Interment will follow at Greenpond Cemetery with George Michael Blount, Duncan Wood, David Baxter, Jimmy Bronson, Frankie Jordan, Herb Cohn, and Brent Knight serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Todd Williams. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blount passed away at 4:50 p.m., Thursday, November 25, 2010, at the Good Sheppard Hospital, in Longview. She was born on September 28, 1959 in Minden, Louisiana to Gerald B. and Yvonne Coker Kirkpatrick. She was a lifelong Baptist.
Survivors include: two sons, Justin Cole Blount and Jake Adam Blount of Sulphur Springs; mother, Yvonne Spencer of Longview; sister, Keitha Walls of Sulphur Springs; three brothers, Thomas Boyd of Longview, Kent Kirkpatrick of Garland, and Kerry Kirkpatrick of Ft. Worth; step-sister, Vickie Hill of Tyler; and step-brother, Bobby Spencer of Mesquite; aunt, Gaynell Wood of Sulphur Springs; two uncles, Tracy Coker and his wife Darla of Rockwall, and Glenn Sanders and wife Frances, of Bistineau, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her father and a step father, Robert Spencer.

Family and friends will be at 401 Peach St. in Sulphur Springs, before and after services. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
