Ken Brown

Graveside service for Ken Brown, age 85, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Shooks Chapel with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Mr. Brown passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Ken Brown was born on January 16, 1941, in McKinney, Texas, to the late Charles and Lilly (Evans) Brown. Ken dedicated 30 years of his life to working at Interstate Body Shop, where he took great pride in his work and the people he worked alongside. Outside of work, Ken enjoyed golfing and fishing, but above all, he cherished spending time with his family. He especially loved being out on the golf course, enjoying the game and the friendships that came with it. He also enjoyed his trips to the casino and the excitement and good times they brought. Ken will be remembered for the joy he found in life, his love for his family, and the many wonderful memories he shared with those who loved him.

Ken is survived by his son, Kenneth Brown of Blueridge, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Brown, Kendra Brown, Brooke Brown, Kenneth Brown, Amber Adams; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Brown and wife Suzy; and sister, Mary Baxter.

He was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Brown; grandson, Kevin Brown; and brothers, Charlie Brown, and Billy E Brown.
