Kenneth Presley

Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Presley, age 71, of Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Fred Lewis will officiate.

Mr. Presley passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Clarksville, TX, on November 10, 1936, the son of G.W. and Rosie Ellen Lowder Presley. He married Angel Etta Anderson, in Denton, on June 4, 1968. She survives.

Mr. Presley was a retired printer, having worked for Echo Publishing Company, for 21 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, in Sulphur Springs. He served int he U.S. Army, during the Korean Conflict.

Other survivors include: a son, Chris Presley, of Paris; daughters, Crystal Wilcox of Sulphur Springs, Teressa Gaines of Clarksville, and Paula Britton, of Idabel, Oklahoma; a brother, Ed Presley of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Dwade Wilcox, Ryan Wilcox, Jacob Wilcox, Parker Wilcox, Casey Presley, Caylee Presley, Rodney Edwards, Dollie Childress, Caleb Gaines, Robert Britton, Joshua Davis, and Jonathan Davis; and one great-grandchild, Cheyanna Childress.
