Kenneth Ray Romans

Funeral service for Kenneth Ray Romans, age 85, of Cumby, Texas, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Norman Carson officiating. Interment will follow at Cumby Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Romans peacefully passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Kenneth Ray Romans was born on August 12, 1940, in Sunny Point, Texas, to the late Frank and Edith (Romans) Romans. He married the late Gloria (Gafford) Romans on July 20th, 1962. Kenneth was a skilled machinist and talented painter whose hard work and creativity reflected the kind of man he was. He was a proud member of the Free Masons and valued the fellowship and principles it represented. Above all, Kenneth was deeply devoted to his beloved wife, Gloria. Though she had been gone for twenty years, she remained the love of his life, and his love and devotion to her never faded.

Kenneth is survived by his sons, Alan Romans of Cumby, Texas, Daniel Romans and wife Mary of Cumby, Texas; grandchildren, Morgan Romans, Chris Romans and wife Katy, Casey Romans and wife Kasidy, Brady Romans and wife Julia; great-grandchildren, Aaron Romans, Josie Romans, Maycee Romans, and Raleigh Romans.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sister, Theta Keeble.
