Kiowa Garcia

Memorial services for Kiowa Tumok Garcia, age 37, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2009.

Kiowa Tumok Garcia passed away in Sulphur Springs, on Thursday evening, July 2, 2009. He was born in Abilene , on December 28, 1971, the son of Leon Adams Garcia and Shelvia Jean Reed. He married Rebecca Godwin in Delta County , on November 7, 2002; she survives. Mr. Garcia was a medical technologist.

Other survivors include: son, Brien Garcia; daughter, Kayla Garcia; two stepsons, Dakota Hudson and Jeffery Shannon, all of Sulphur Springs; mother, Shelvia Jean Reed of Sulphur Springs; sister, Kristi Salinas and husband, Gary, of San Antonio; two nephews, Benito Salinas and Gabriel Salinas and niece, Diana Salinas. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Garcia.
