Leon Sims

Funeral services for Leon "Mack" Sims, age 87, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 11, 2008. Interment will follow at East Caney Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.
Leon "Mack" Sims passed away Sunday Night, October 5, 2008, at Carriage House Manor Nursing Home. He was born in the East Caney Community, on September 16, 1921, the son of Grissby and Pinky Dial Sims. Mr. Sims was retired from Precinct #2 and the Banks Company. He served in the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: sister, Annie Lee and her husband Clyde of Albion, Michigan.
