Lillie Brooks

Visitation for Lillie Brooks, age 81 of Commerce, TX will be held from 1:00 to 3:00P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Mrs. Brooks passed away on January 26, 2022 at Christus Mother Frances – Sulphur Springs.

Lillie was born on March 25, 1940 in Kirksey, KY to Kermit and Gracie (Byerly) Smith. She married Elmer Brooks on January 16, 1959 at St. Louis; Mo. Lillie worked as a home health care giver.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Clark and husband, Terry; sons, Michael Brooks and wife, Helen, David Brooks and Roger Brooks; grandchildren, Mathews Brooks, Joseph Clark, Dianna Holt, Tylar Brooks and Brett Brooks; great grandchildren, Kayden Cummings, Morgan Holt, Ember Clark and Jonin Clark; brother, Larry Smith.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Brooks; brothers, Bobby Smith and Hiram Smith.
