Lisa Simmons

Memorial service for Lisa Renee (Moore) Simmons, age 62 of Dike, TX will be held at 12:00P.M. on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Jimmy Nutt, Sr. officiating. A private family interment will follow at Como Cemetery. Mrs. Simmons passed away on August 6, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances – Sulphur Springs.

Lisa was born on June 17, 1959 in Dallas, TX to Joe “Bottles” Moore and Ruby “Sugar” (Carpenter) Moore. She worked as a pilot driver for road construction. She was a woman of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her fiancé, Jimmy White; daughter, Kristen Johnson and husband, Nathaniel; son, Kasey Simmons and wife, Ashley Poacher Kirschner; grandchildren, Jimmy Nutt III, Bryson Neil Johnson, Kaci Lynn Simmons, Karlee Simmons, Kadence Simmons and Karson Blue Simmons; brother, Terry Moore and wife, Patty; nephews, Taylor Moore and wife, Julie Wadel and Chad Moore; great nephews, Sammy Moore; great niece, Abby Moore.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Kinleigh Simmons
