Funeral services for Lloyd Lee, age 82, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Spence Chapel at the First Baptist Church, at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2010, with Rev. Mark Bryant and Keith "Butch" Maddox officiating. A military graveside will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Brady Stewart, Chance Lee, Chase Lee, Bobby Beck, Marlin Jones, James Jackson, David Brewer, Eric Mabe, Mark Maddox and Chandler Lee serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Clifton Alexander, Warren Brewer, James Allen and Clifford Reisor.
Lloyd Lee passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Carriage House Manor. He was born in Greenville, TX on September 13, 1928, the son of Lloyd L. Lee, Sr. and Ruby Williams. He married Marie Prince in Mesquite, TX on March 16, 1957. She survives. Mr. Lee served in the United States National Guard and the United States Air Force in the Military Police during the Korean War. He is of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Toni Maddox and husband Keith "Butch" of Sulphur Springs, Teresa Stewart of Joshua and Traci Lee of Dallas; a son, Keith Lee and wife Vicki of Miller Grove; eight grandchildren, Megan Stewart, Brady Stewart, Chance Lee, Chase Lee, Chandler Lee, Chandra Lee, Kaitlin Maddox and Mark Maddox. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church or to the American Heart Association.
