Lloyd Plummer

Funeral services for Lloyd "Buddy" Plummer, age 68, of Emory, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Jarratt will officiate.

Interment will follow services in the Prospect Cemetery, with Michael Briggs, Richard Briggs, Richard Briggs, Jr., Michael Briggs, Jr., Junior Yarborough, and Bruno Lujan serving as pallbearers.

There will be no formal visitation.

Mr. Plummer passed away, on Monday, January 14, 2008, at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. He was born in Goddard, KY, on July 20, 1939, the son of Carl and Lena Pearl Caskey Plummer.

He was a truck driver for a construction company and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: two daughters, Vicki Sue Lugo and Tammie Plummer, both of Dallas; his mother, Pearl Porter of Kentucky; two sisters, Crystal Sapp of Kentucky and Dorothy Briggs of Alba; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father: son, Lloyd Wayne Plummer; and a sister, Freida Wallace.
