Lois Fender

A funeral service for Lois V. Fender, age 96, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013, with Rev. Jerry Radney officiating. Interment will follow at City Cemetery, with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Lois V. Fender passed away Monday afternoon, February 25, 2013 at Rock Creek Health & Rehabilitation. She was born in Hobart, Oklahoma on May 27, 1916, the daughter of Ira Thurman and Maude (McBurney) Thurman. She married Harold Fender who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: three sons, Keith Fender and Monique, Kevin Fender and Sheila and Kenny Fender, all of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Aaron Fender, Shea Fender, Shaun Fender, Denver Fender, Nichole Fender, Darin Fender, Tasha Byrne and Matt Butler and great-grandchildren, Laine Fender, Evan Byrne and Jayda Johnson. She was preceded in death by one sister and seven brothers.
