Lou McCoy

A graveside service for Lou McCoy, age 73, of Yantis, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the Yantis Cemetery, with Rev. Arlis Banks officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Lou McCoy passed away Monday morning, November 1, 2010, at East Texas Medical Center. She was born in Como, on August 28, 1937, the daughter of William Oliver Wilson and Dorothy Nell (Stephens) Wilson. She married Bruce Cooper. He preceded her in death. Ms. McCoy was a retired office clerk from Matel Corporation and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: daughter, Regina McCoy of Quitman; mother, Dorothy "Dot" Yarbrough; brother, Dan Christian, both of Yantis; granddaughter, Kinsey Lynn McCoy and several nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father.
