Luevella Harris

Funeral service for Luevella Harris, age 94, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at East Caney Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, TX with Pastor LaVelle Hendricks officiating.  Interment will follow at East Caney Cemetery.   Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Mrs. Harris passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, TX.

Luevella (Lu, Louvell) was born May 12, 1929, to Rev Tom Foster Washington and Rosie Lee (Vaughn) Washington. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of East Caney Baptist Church for life. During her lifetime, she quietly suffered many illnesses and trials but God in his amazing grace blessed her and gave her a nice long life of comforts, protections, and peace.
