Lula Alexander

A memorial service for Lula Lee Alexander, age 75, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, at 12:00 (Noon), Friday, January 21, 2011, with Pastor H. B. Nash and Jerry Vaughns officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Lula Lee Alexander passed away January 14, 2011 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. She was born on March 10, 1935, in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of A. D. and Jewel Thomas Vaughns , in Como. She married Cleotus Alexander. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: sons, Randall Alexander of Dallas, Cyd LaVon Alexander of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Cory Alexander, Cory Alexander, Jr., Victor D. Hollins, Chaune Hollins, Catlin Hollins, all of Dallas; brothers, Weldon Nash of Dallas and Ivery Nash; sisters, Francis Dial and Ruby Daniel; aunts, Mary Ross and Billy Lewis, all of Sulphur Springs, Ruby Daniel, Eunice Finney, both of Dallas and Etta Hall of Kansas City, Missouri, a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in death by son, Donnie Ray Alexander, her parents, Jasper and Mozell Nash; brothers, Laurence Vaughns, Billy Dean Vaughns and Robert Vaughns and sister, Brenda Frazier.
