Mary Goodgion

Funeral services for Mary Edna Wright Goodgion, age 78, of Brinker, will be Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. B.J. Teer and Bro. Michael Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Richland Cemetery. Visitation will 6 till 8 pm, Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mary Edna Wright Goodgin passed Saturday, September 05, 2009 at her residence. She was born in Bowie County, TX , on January 29, 1931, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Blanche Lee Steen Wright. She married Ed Goodgion in Dallas, TX on April 3 1954. He preceded her in death in 2006.

She was a bookkeeper and homemaker. Mary was a long time Girl Scout Leader.

Surviviors include: son, Alan Goodgion of Como; daughter, Robin Barrow of Denton; grandchildren, Christopher Rogers, Kayla Barrow, Thomas Barrow, and Michael Rogers; great grandson, Jaden Rogers.

She was preceded by two brothers, Willie Joe Wright, and Tommy Lee Wright.
