Funeral Services for Mattie Sue Nichols McKinney Keen, 73, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2011, with Rev. John Gandy and Dr. Jimmy Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Caney Cemetery with Keith Jameson, Tim Anderson, Travis Adams, Rance Spaid, Ray Edwards, Billy Edwards,
Jonathan Foster serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Roehm and Barry Peters. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mattie Sue Nichols McKinney Keen passed away Sunday morning, October 23, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Pickton, January 23, 1938, the daughter of J. C. Nichols and Lillie Maude (Henderson) Nichols. She married Kenneth McKinney. He preceded her in death. She married Herman Keen; he survives. She was a retired cafeteria worker for Winnsboro I.S.D. and a member of Caney Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Cindy Anderson (Gary) of Klondike, Teresa Dudley of Hugo, Oklahoma, Kathy Roehm (Gregory) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Pam Jameson (Keith) of Antlers, Oklahoma and Debra Spaid of Pickton; two sisters, Nell Sisco (Jack) of Dallas and Nancy Grimes of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Jason Anderson, Tim Anderson, Melissa Peters, Kyle Adams, Travis Adams, Wade Jameson and Klay Jameson and great- grandchildren, Kyle Rineheart, Montanna Anderson, Lexi Peters, Hunter Anderson, Kaleb Anderson, Haley Anderson and Harley Anderson. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Lou Weis. Memorials may be made to the Caney Cemetery Fund, 11591 FM 269, Pickton, TX 75471.
