Melinda Moore

Graveside service for Melinda Moore, age 67, of Cooper, TX will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Peerless Cemetery with Glen Stone officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Moore passed away on February 26, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances – Tyler.

Melinda was born on June 1, 1953 in El Reno, Oklahoma to Joe and Frances (Champ) Wilton. She married Roger Moore on December 28, 1971 in Burkburnett, TX. Melinda was a nurse for several local nursing homes.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Moore and Darrell Moore; grandchildren, Destany Brown, Oliver Price and Sydney Scantlen; mother, Frances Wilton; brothers, Michael Wilton, Marty Wilton and Kent Wilton; sisters, Mary Wilton and Cathy Rice; brother-in-law Cecil Moore.

Melinda was preceded in death by her father, Joe Wilton; husband, Roger Moore; brother, Larry Wilton.
