Funeral services for Mildred Pauline Morrison Young ,age 91 of Campbell, Texas will be held at the Murray Orworsky Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 2:00 p. m. with Dr. James Ralson of the Shady Grove Baptist Church, Greenville, Texas officiating Internment will be held at the Arbala Cemetery, Arbala, Texas.with pallbearers Jimmy Babb, Jarrett Featherston, Weldon Irby,Bobby Whisenhunt, Bill Davis and Lewis Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are nephews Jerry Young, Pete Young, Gene Young, Mark Nurdin, Bob Morrison, Bill Morrison, Don Morrison, Larry Morrison, and Gary Morrison. Visitation will be Monday evening August 2, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Murray Orworsky Funeral Home.
Mildred Young passed away at Triumph Hospital, Dallas, Texas, on Friday morning July 30, 2010. She was born in Brashear, TX on June 4, 1919 the 5th child of 8 children born to Lee Roy and Lillie Mae King Morrison. She married Noble Ray Young in Commerce, Texas on February 14, 1942. He preceded her in death in February, 1994 Mildred was retired from Henson-Kickernick Manufacturing, Greenville and was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Greenville, TX. Also preceding her in death are her parents , brothers Ray, Buck, and Howard Morrison, sisters, Jessie Fay Duncan Boone and Martha Lou Courson, son, William Wayne Young, grandchildren Martin Jay Canales and Shane Turner.
She is survived by 2 daughters, La Juanda Annette (Ann) Newsom, Dallas, TX, Beverly June and husband Tony Garza, Mesquite, TX , 1 son, Michael Ray Young and wife Michelle Young, Mt. Pleasant, TX and daughter-in-law, Linda Young , Campbell, TX, 6 grandsons, Christopher Newsom, Dallas, TX, David Smart, Celeste, TX, Martin (Marty) Garza Flower Mound, TX, Danny Garza, Mesquite, TX, John Young ,Charleston, SC , Micah Hennessy, Mt. Pleasant, TX , 5 granddaughters, Michelle Napier, Dallas, TX, Renee Young, Campbell, TX, Kara Young , Denver. CO,, Brittani Rogers, Upper Darby, PA., Sylvia Garza Arocha, San Angelo TX, 8 great grandchildren, Jordan Arocha, Sean Arocha, Sarah Smart, Aaron Perez, Samantha Garza , Cole Garza.
