Mitchell Beggs

A memorial service for Mitchell Beggs , 79, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 8, 2011, with Rev. Jaime Madonado officiating. No formal visitation is planned.
Mitchell Beggs passed away at his residence Tuesday evening, September 6, 2011. He was born in Sunny Point on March 26, 1932, the son of Odis G. Beggs and Hazel Mitchell. He married Anna Doris Marler in Dallas on November 5, 1954; she survives. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for H. D. Lee Company and a member of First Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Other survivors include two sons, Mark Beggs and Jon Beggs and wife, Rachael, all of Sulphur Springs and two grandchildren, Abbi Beggs and Jacob Beggs. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Matt Randell Beggs.
