Mozelle Williams

September 30, 1927 — October 9, 2012

A funeral service for Mozelle Williams, age 85, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012, with Rev. Harold Wright officiating. Interment will follow at East Caney Cemetery, with her nephews serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mozelle Williams passed away Tuesday evening, October 9, 2012, at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. She was born in Hopkins County on September 30, 1927, the daughter of George Vaden and Corain (Williams) Vaden. She was a homemaker and a member of East Caney Baptist Church.


Survivors include: daughter, Dorothy Bassett of Wichita, Kansas; son, Kenneth Vaden of Sulphur Springs ; two brothers, Cleveland Vaden of Sulphur Springs and Clifford Vaden of Dallas; grandchild, Shaundrai Harrison; great-grandchildren, Deonta Harrison, Shimeka Harrison, Eboni Mack and Rekisa Harrison and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Aaron Lewis; daughter, Gloria Jean Lewis; four sisters, Dester Thompson, Emma Jewel Clayton, Lemyrtle Dial and Marie Stokes; grandson, Shim Ray Harrison and two brothers, Clarence Vaden and L. D. Vaden.
