Nelly Joyce Robinson

Funeral services for Nelly Joyce Robinson, age 81, of Sulphur Springs, TX, formerly of Maplesville, AL, and Prattville, AL, will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. C.J. Duffey officiating. Interment will take place at Greenview Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the Carriage House Manor in Sulphur Springs, TX. 

She was born September 21, 1944, in Maplesville, Alabama, to Ernest C. (E.C.) and Alpha (Kemp) Mims. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama, and had worked in the finance industry, retiring from the Credit Bureau.

She is survived by her sister, Joan Wilburn, and husband, Charlie, of Emory, TX; nephews, Shannon Pickering and wife, Heidi, and Brandon Pickering and wife, Kienna; as well as a great-nephew, Blake Pickering, and a great-niece, Sarah Pickering.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mason T. Robinson, her daughter, Laura Robinson-Lesch, and her brother, E.C. Mims Jr.
