Nelson Ellis

A private graveside service for Nelson Ellis, age 80, of Cumby was conducted at City Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday March 4, 2014. There was no formal visitation.
Nelson Ellis passed away at his residence Sunday afternoon, March 2, 2014. He was born in Dallas on October 11, 1933, the son of Milton Earl Ellis and Emma Catherine Crow. He married Carole Ann Price in Dallas on December 22, 1956; she survives. He was in retail sales and he was a Congregationalist. He served in the United States Army.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Deborah Rush and husband Ed of Commerce, Cynthia Jones and husband Jerry and Katherine Grymko, all of Cedar Hill; grandchildren, Jason Orr, Joshua Orr, Kristina Orr, Johnny Miller and Matthew Grymko and great-grandchildren, Anthony and Olga Flores, Brett Miller and Mark and Luke Grymko. He was preceded in death by his parents.
