Nikii Whitehead

Memorial service for Nikii Whitehead, age 65, of Lone Oak, Texas, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Brent Anderson officiating. Nikii passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Nikii Whitehead was born on March 14, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Jack and Shirley (Schmitt) Kenworthey. Nikii was a beautiful wife, mom, and granny who loved the Lord. She married Floyd Whitehead in Lone Oak on April 19, 1987. She found great joy in writing poetry, especially for others going through tough times, to bring them comfort. Nikii began volunteering at Lone Oak Elementary School when her daughter, Kat, began attending Kindergarten. She then went on to become an aid and help bring in a preschool program. She loved working with her little ones and being near her daughter.

Nikii is survived by her husband, Floyd Whitehead, daughter and son-in-law, Kat and Colton Boyd, step-granddaughter, Emma Whitehead, sister, Carole Kennedy, and brothers, Chuck Kenworthey, Mike Kenworthey, and Jesse Kenworthey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Shirley Kenworthey, and her step-son, Jimmy Whitehead.
