Nina Charlton

A memorial service for Nina RuthCharlton, age 78, of Sulphur Springs will be held at New Richland Baptist Church, at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011, with Brother C. J. Duffy and Elvin Harry officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Nina Ruth Charlton passed away Wednesday morning, April 20, 2011, at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. She was born in Hopkins County on August 21, 1932, the daughter of Dave Elbert Charlton and Lelia (Wofford) Charlton. She was a landsman for oil and gas companies.
Survivors include: brother, Roger S. Charlton and wife, Ann, of Williamsburg, Kansas; two sisters, Mary D. Smith and husband, Roy of Sulphur Springs, Lois Faye Follis of Lubbock and 13 nieces and nephews, Sarah Harris, Mary Jane Jernigan, Johnny Follis, James Follis, Margaret Scheer, David Follis, Tom Farris, Mark Farris, Roger Lee Charlton, Laura Ronnebaum, Barry Charlton, Jana Hettich and Nancy McIllwain. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Louis Ray Charlton.
