Norman Ordiway

Funeral services for Norman Ordiway, age 71, of Winnsboro, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kenneth French will officiate.

Interment will follow services in the Hopewell Cemetery with Junior Joplin, J.T. Bearden, Jeremy Kull, Rodie Comer, Andrew Jackson, and David Rowell serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Ordiway passed away on Friday morning, January 18, 2008, at his residence. He was born in Midland, Michigan, on October 24, 1936, the son of Floyd and Florence Ordiway. He married Margie Marie Bearden, in Pittsburg, Texas, on November 7, 1977. She survives.

Mr. Ordiway was a retired truck driver and a member of the First Assembly of God Church, in Winnsboro. He served in the U.S. Army.

Other survivors include: seven daughters, Linda Kull, May Marie LaLonde, both of Winnsboro, Tera Joplin of South Carolina, Melanie Ordiway, Rosemary Ordiway, Heather Haney, all of Michigan, and Terri Feneron of New York; two sons, Norman Keith Ordiway, Jr., of New York, and Brian Keith Ordiway of Michigan; two sisters, Irene Gillum and Linda Ordiway, both of Michigan; a brother, Baxter Ordiway, of Michigan; several grandchildren, including Jesse Kull, Joshua Kull, and Michelle Joplin; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
