Graveside services for Olevia King will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. at Reilly Springs Cemetery with Jim King officiating. Mrs. King passed away at her home on Friday, November 27,2020 in Yantis.

Olevia Hathcoat King was born on December 21, 1934 in Como, Texas to Forrest Clinton Ray and Mae Frances Kerr- Ray. Olevia was married to Lewis D. Hathcoat in the spring of 1952. During their marriage they had four children. Her life revolved around her family and raising her children. After 32 years, life changed for Olevia and she had to start over due to divorce. Keeping in her true form for caring for others, Olevia worked in home health care providing in home assistance to her elderly clients. In the summer of 1985, wedding bells rang again, and James C. King took Olevia’s hand in marriage thus adding to the family. Sadly in 2011, James took his walk through the pearly gates ahead of her.

Through all the years Olevia has been blessed in life by a very large, loving family. All her children married and have provided her with many grand and great grand and a few great-great grandchildren.

Olevia is survived by Louis and Gail Hathcoat, Millie and Jimmy Duncan, Michelle Hathcoat, Janie and Douglas Linneberger and James and Brenda King.

Her grandchildren are: Tammie and Jackie Young, Sherry Garcia, Jeffery and Tangie Hathcoat, Jerry and Cara Duncan, Naja and Jeff Brown, Mitzi Monk, Amie and Billie Douglas, Tina Marek, Jessica Linneberger, Jon and Tiffany Allen, Valerie and Aaron Bryand, Makenzie and Brian Parr, Caelan and Joy King.

Olevia had 35 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.

Olevia has been preceded in death by her parents F.C. and Mae Frances Kerr Ray, Lewis D. Hathcoat and James C King, three sisters and one brother.

It is truly a blessing from above to be surrounded by people you love and who love you back, Olevia knew this blessing every day of her life. She will live on through the many different lives she touched.
