Peggy Vickers

Graveside Services for Peggy Ramona Vickers will be held on Saturday July 13, 2019 at Restlawn Memorial Park at 10:00 AM with Mike Kessler officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday July 12, 2019 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Peggy passed away peacefully in Mt. Pleasant, TX on July 11, 2019 at the age of 90.

She was born Peggy Ramona Banks to Xerxes and Pearl Banks on December 26, 1928 in Pickton, TX. She married Junious Valton Vickers on November 16, 1946.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Junious of 47 years, her parents Xerxes and Pearl Banks and brother Duke Banks.

She is survived by three children, Junious Vickers Jr. and wife Liliya, Larry Vickers and wife Gaila, daughter Sandra Vickers; six grandchildren, Amber, Dawn, Erica, Andrew, Robert, and Chris and seventeen great-grandchildren; sister Xerlene Alexander and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Chambers Hospice in Mt. Pleasant, Focus Care of Clarksville and to Pleasant Springs Nursing Home in Mt. Pleasant
