A graveside service for Phillip Kerby, 38, of Dike will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery, with Rev. Clyde Warner officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Phillip Kerby passed away Friday morning, October 21, 2011 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Greenville, February 15, 1973, the son of Bobby Kerby and Charlene (Stevens) Kerby. He married Kelly Lynn Holmes in Sulphur Springs, December 20, 2010; she survives. He was a self-employed welder and a member of Assembly of God Church.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Brittani Ann Kerby of Brashear and Kaylee Delaney Kerby; son, Brent Matthew Kerby, both of Dike; his parents; three brothers, Eddie Kerby of Shirley, Johnny Kerby of Atlanta and Tim Kerby of Brashear. He was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Marcie Kerby.
