Funeral services for R. V. Copeland, 70, of Prosper, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011 with Rev. Kelly Montgomery and Rev. Waymon Hass officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before service time (10:00 a.m.)`
R. V. Copeland passed away at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco Sunday morning, October 9, 2011. He was born in Quitman January 27, 1941, the son of Herman Lee Copeland and Inez (Odessa) Copeland. He was a retired assembler at Lighthouse of the Blind. He was a member of Church of God.
His sister, Francis Hass and husband Waymon of Prosper survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.
