Raymond Henry

Funeral services for Raymond E. Henry, age 81, of Quinlan will be conducted at Lake Tawakoni Church of Christ at 11:30 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2011, with Randy Reagan officiating. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Eastview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Lake Tawokoni Church of Christ.
Raymond E. Henry passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at College Station. He was born in Vernon on October 26, 1929, the son of Cab Henry and Bessie (Rather) Henry. He married Bobbye Jo Smith in Vernon on September 4, 1946. She preceded him in death in 2009. He was a retired funeral director and a member of the Church of Christ. He was also a Master Mason of the Trestle Board #534 in Quinlan.
Survivors include: son, Drew Henry and wife Tae of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter, Ricki Henry of College Station; five grandchildren, Drew Henry of Irving, Joelle Rosentswieg Stalzer and husband Nate of Austin, Suzann Henry Grant, Tina Henry, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Ariel Bobbye Rosentswieg of College Station and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Russell Henry; two sisters, Linda Henry Jordan & Brenda Henry Renfro and Christian caregiver, Betty Nolan. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Reagan Henry and sister, Roma Handley.
