Robert Burns

Visitation for Robert D. Burns, age 76, of Sulphur Springs will be 6:00 till 8:00p.m.Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Robert David Burns passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at Paris Regional Medical Center. He was born in Sulphur Springs on November 16, 1933, the son of T.C. and Hazel Lewis Burns. He married Taeko Suzuki in Japan on November 14, 1955. She survives. He was a retired school teacher and of the Baptist faith. Robert served in the United States Navy and Air force.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Traci Hooker and husband, Jonathan of Reilly Springs, Eri Burns of California; one granddaughter, Jill Plemons and husband, Brent of Winnsboro; four great grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Georgiana, and Wyatt Plemons.
He was preceded in death by parents and one daughter, Cindy Burns
