Robert Stocklos

A military graveside service for Robert Lewis (Bob) Stocklos, age 90, of Rowlett, will be conducted at 2:15 p.m., Thursday, February 3, 2011 at DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 (Noon) Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Robert Stocklos passed away Thursday evening, January 27, 2011 at Mercer House in Rowlett. He was born in Inavale, Nebraska on January 24, 1921, the son of Lewis Perry Stocklos and Carrie Bernice (Miller) Stocklos. He married Roma Drusilla Williams in Kansas City, Missouri on July 5, 1946. She preceded him in death. Mr. Stocklos was a retired salesman and he was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include: son, Ron Stocklos of Rowlett and grandchildren, Nicole Stocklos and Vanessa Stocklos. He was preceded in death by brother, Raymond Stocklos and two sisters, Ruth Stout and Bess Ross.
