Roger Friend

A visitation will be held for Roger Friend , age 67, of Cumby at Cumby Funeral Home, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 3, 2008.
Roger Friend passed away Thursday afternoon, July 31, 2008, at Paris Regional Medical Center. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on January 8, 1941, the son of Herman and Patricia Terry Friend. He married Rosann Elizabeth Rhodes in Rockwall, on August 26, 1977; she survives. Mr. Friend was a self-employed carpenter. He served in the United States Marines.
Other survivors include: daughter, Renee Seely and husband, Brian, of Cumby; mother, Patricia Anderson of Missouri Valley, Iowa and grandchildren, Brittany Seely and Paige Seely. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Danny Friend; sister, Pat Ann Anderson and stepfather, Warren Anderson.
