Ruth Way

Memorial service for Ruth Way, age 74, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at a later date. Mrs. Way passed away on May 2, 2021 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home.

Ruth was born on October 1, 1946 in Belleview, IL to Lloyd and Aileen (Parks) Sterrick. She worked in make-up sales representation and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children Debra Kern and husband, John, Amber Alstad and husband, Orlin, Ed Holland and Elizabeth Sanchez and husband Joe; grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Michael, Selena, John Stephanie, Kyle, Jamie, Ashely, Odin and David; thirteen great grandchildren; brothers, Bill Walker and Jimmy Walker; sisters, Annie Walker and Linda Walker.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Raymond Walker; brother Larry Sterrick; ex-husband, Jim Clayton; grandson, Gabriel Sanchez.
