Sandra Thompson

Funeral services for Sandra Thompson, age 68, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2010, with Rev. Eldon Hamilton and Rev. Vince Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, with Jason Talley, Mark Crouch, Mike Swanson, Kyle Thompson, Jordan Thompson and Shane Quinn serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Jordan and Ronnie Kinworthy. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 15, 2010, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Sandra Thompson passed away Sunday morning, November 14, 2010 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Delta County on April 11, 1942, the daughter of J. B. "Bud" Talley, Jr. and Francine (Cavanaugh) Talley. She married Robert Henry Thompson in Commerce on November 19, 1959; he survives. Mrs. Thompson was a retired seamstress at H. D. Lee and she attended of Assembly of God Church.
Other survivors include: son, Dale Thompson and wife, Pamela; brother, David Talley and wife, Mary, all of Brashear; sister, Janet Tullos of Lebanon, Missouri; grandchildren, Nikki Barnett and husband, Jason, Michael Churchman, Joshua White and Michelle Cope and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Chester Tullos. Memorials may be made to Harmony Assembly of God, P.O. Box 130, Pickton, TX 75071.
