Sandy McPeters

Memorial service for Sandy McPeters, age 68, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Mrs. McPeters passed away at Christus Mother Frances in Tyler, Texas, on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Sandy McPeters was born on August 17, 1957, in Hemet, California, to the late Holly and Anna (Golden) Adkins. She married Boyce McPeters in Laughlin, Nevada, in 1985. Sandy dedicated thirty years of service to Hemet Hospital in California, where she cared deeply for those around her. Most recently, she worked at Joe Bob’s Convenience Store, where she enjoyed visiting with customers and friends. In her free time, Sandy loved dotting art, crocheting, and trying her luck at gambling.

Sandy is survived by her son Eric Wayne McPeters and wife Sarah of Tijuana, Mexico; daughter, Crystal Gail Hayes and husband Gary of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Danny Mercado, Diego Mercado, Corvin McPeters, Lindsey Hayes; sister. Joan Lynch; and brother, Larry Adkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
