Mrs. Diamond passed away at Heritage at Twin Creeks Senior Living in Allen, Texas, on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Sherry Diamond was born on September 14, 1953, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to the late F.A. and Dorothy (Lovell) Ray. She married the late Richard Diamond in Winnsboro, Texas, on June 2, 1972. Sherry earned her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in Commerce and dedicated many years to education as an English teacher at the Rains, Winnsboro, and Wylie school districts. She was a member of First United Methodist Church - Winnsboro and Suncreek United Methodist Church - Allen.

Sherry shared a beautiful 46-year marriage with her beloved husband, Richard, and often reminisced about their high school romance and lifelong love. She considered becoming a mother to Leslie and Dax one of her greatest blessings and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, Jules, Luke, Savannah, and Steele. Sherry also found joy in caring for her dog, Freckles, taking walks, and nurturing her beautiful hydrangeas. As a dedicated and compassionate teacher, she touched the lives of many students who remembered her with affection and gratitude.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Leslie Yeary, and husband Chris of Allen, Texas; son, Dax Diamond, and wife Stacy of Lone Oak, Texas; granddaughters, Jules Yeary of Little Rock, Arkansas, Savannah Diamond of Lone Oak, Texas; grandsons, Luke Yeary of Allen, Texas, and Steele Diamond of Lone Oak, Texas.
