Shim Harrison

Funeral services for Shim Harrison, age 42, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2011, with Rev. Kerry Harrison officiating. A wake will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2011 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Shim Harrison passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington. He was born in Sulphur Springs on July 15, 1968, the son of Kenneth Harrison and Dorothy (Lewis) Harrison. He was a truck driver and a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie.

Survivors include: two daughters, Eboni Mack of Wichita, Kansas and Rekeisa Harrison of Sulphur Springs; his mother, Dorothy Bassett of Wichita, Kansas; father, Kenneth Harrison of Dallas; three sisters, Shaundrai Harrison of Grand Prairie, Kendal Nicole Miller of Dallas and Kioka Stewart of Lancaster; brother Corey Harrison of Dallas; three grandchildren and grandmother, Mozelle Williams of Sulphur Springs.
