Sue Shadix

Funeral Service for Sue Shadix, age 86, of Como, TX will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Judge B.J. Teer officiating.  Interment will follow at Como Cemetery with Richard Brown, John Joyner, Mike Simmons, Stephen Simmons, Max Martin and William Welch serving as pallbearers.  Visitation was from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.  Ms. Shadix passed away on Wednesday, May 01, 2019 in Willow Park, TX

Sue was born on June 8, 1932 in Como, TX to Jed and Myrl Garvin.  Sue was a School Teacher at Como-Pickton  ISD.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Jed Shadix; grandchildren, Tony Shadix (Sara), Bobby Shadix (Kippie), Cheryl Shadix (Billy),  Anthony Shadix (Shanna), Christina Shadix, Julia Shadix, Andrea France; great grandchildren, Cory Shadix, Jacob Webb, Lane Webb, Stetson Shadix, Emily Shadix, Meagan Shadix, Tessa Shadix, Kathauren Grace Vaughn-Mize; brother, Dusty Hill.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Sherrie Shadix; sons, Robert Earl Shadix, Jimmy Wayne Shadix; brothers, Stanley Garvin, Rocky Hill; sister, Jane Garvin.
